Technology Support for Virtual Learning

🟦 Internet Access for Students

Many Jasper County students and teachers are able to access digital learning from home. However, internet access is not required for participation in eLearning.

We understand that emergency situations may prevent students from being in their usual home environment, which may affect their ability to access the internet. In such cases, teachers will work with students upon their return to ensure they do not fall behind.

🟦 What to Do If Technology Isn't Working on an eLearning Day

If technology fails during eLearning:

  • Teachers and staff should submit help tickets using One-to-One Plus, found in Classlink.

  • These tickets will be addressed as support staff become available.

  • If the issue is widespread, the district will notify staff and families.

  • If the issue is outside of JCSD’s control, teachers will assist students when they return to school.

🟦 Available Software and Learning Tools

JCSD offers a variety of educational tools to support virtual learning.

  • Teachers can access the 1EdTech Dashboard in Classlink.

  • This dashboard provides:

    • A list of approved educational tools

    • Descriptions of each program

    • Audience guidance (elementary, secondary, etc.)

    • Access instructions

🟦 Need Help with Software or Training?
