good afternoon my name is Sean, she only and I'm the director of operations and project management for SSC I'm waiting Lily from public tennis and music YouTube director there Ben Castillo project manager when I say so public tennis shoes organization that started in 2020 20:21 to put the some public courts together in places where there were no public court so you don't already area here there's courts everywhere they a lot of course but not all of them very few of them attacked are accessible to the public and so we wanted to see that change that's what we've been doing so we work on public and school courts and make them affordable and accessible to Kids Jasper County Schools successfully submitted a grant we have received $30,000 to recondition our tennis courts which is a great success story with assistance with Wayne to get these plans so we could actually bring tennis back into the school district to have a quality super said we were but particularly here you know how to school a school it's a great introductory classroom for tennis so we've actually done some events on these very courts with the school here that involve Tennis & learning so we can do both Tennessee learning but wheel introduced tennis here and then the kids follow on and sure enough a lot of them adopted sport so if we introduced to physical education classes here and then after school courses pretty soon we got a lot of tennis clips so as far as research resurfacing the tennis courts hear what you're going to see is a lot of the cracks that happened over the years as far as the slight movement now when they come in to do some repairs on these crack heads are going to quiet them little bit more make sure that they're filled in Pittsfield in there to make sure that it's levels Wanted level down that it was sealed and it's looking like it's good they were going to come in with resurfacing what we do the resurfacing though the striping put it in making sure that the polls are accurate charger they need to be and then we're going to also add in some new tennis netting they're going to look like a planet with lines and an extra set of lines for sure record play which is how we introduced tennis to the younger kids again our mission is really about getting people to play tennis who might otherwise not be playing tennis we saw these Court sitting here over the years were just thinking this is crazy we got to school here we got kids we got all the makings of a good a g a lot of kids could be playing tennis here we are we're just on the precipice of that that's really exciting
