greetings Jasper County School District stakeholders I am Dr Marlin Westbrook I am the director of accountability assessment and professional development on today as we are here Jasper County School District we are excited to provide data information to all stakeholders every year high school students take Algebra 1 biology 1 English to and the United States history constitution of sesman where they are assessed to obtain their performance level as mandated by the South Carolina Department of Education I'll performance as it relates to their Readiness for who work for this District data addition is to provide a summer to report of the eocep and career Readiness assessment for the 2223 Academic School year this report outlines the view as we look at critical information to assist with understanding the data so I'll performance levels for the end-of-course assessment for Algebra 1 biology 1 English 2 and the United is history and Constitution the student exceeds expectation of the core standards if they score between a 90 to 100 as a letter grade of a the student meets the expectation of the course Sanders if they score between a 82894 a b or a 7279 for a see the student minimally meets the expectations of the course content if they score between 60 to 69 with the letter G of the hay and the student does not meet the expectation of the course content standards if they score below a 60 warranted in a Grade of f y performance levels for the career readiness there are three sub test within that assessment and they are Applied Mathematics reading for information and locating information as far as the performance level you have a platinum where the students score the minimum of six on all three core subtest you have a gold level the student scores a minimum of five on each of the Three core subtest silver-level the student scores a minimum of on each of the Three core subtest and then we have the bronze level the student scores a minimum of three on each of the core subjects we'd like to look at our key point for High School Harleysville Junior Senior High School as we look at meets and exceeds we will outline here Algebra 1 meets and exceeds data Trends and figure 1.18 from 20-20-20 1221 way to it shows that a student scores decrease however the scores improved with the algebra 1 standards in 22 23 and the percentage increase by 18.90 points with 28.40 / Proficiency in our biology 1 meets and exceeds data Trends and figured 1.18 from 2020 21 to 2122 it shows that I have to do school is decrease however those School improved again with the biology wants to Anderson 22-23 and the percentage increased by 9.80 points with 19.8% proficient when we go to English to these data transfer and figured 1.18 from 2020 21 to 2122 it shows that those students cause decreased however in 2223 the scores improved in English to at the percentage increased by 27.20 points with 51-point 10% proficiency yes 51 10% proficiency the data off it shows that you look at figure 1.1 be that there were 13.9% of bronze recipients on the career Readiness assessment it also shows and figured 1.14 said there were 7.8% of silver on the career Readiness assessment and we want to congratulate our students at Hardeeville Junior Senior High School now as we look at key points for Richmond secondary Academy of Excellence we see that I Algebra 1 meets and exceeds data Trends and figured 1.2 a from 2020 to 21 to 21 22 shows at student scores decrease however the scores improved with the algebra 1 standings in 22. 3 and the percentage increased by 12.8 points with 22.3% proficiency as we look at biology 1 meets and exceeds data trending figured 1.28 the 2020 21 to 21 22 shows that our student school is decreased but in 22 23 those scores and proved in Biology one and the percentage increase by 1.30 points with 11 point 3% proficiency as we look at English to meets and exceeds data Trends in the same figure 1.28 from 2020 21 to 2122 it shows that a student school has decreased again ever the school was improved with English to standards in 22 23 and the percentage increase by 16.10 points with 40% proficiency yes 40% proficiency when we look at our United States history and Constitution meets and exceeds State of Trance and figured 1.28 from 2020 21 21 22 it shows that those scores decreased as as well however the scores improved with the u.s. history and Constitution standard in 22 23 and the percentage increased by 3.10 points with 15 Point 20% proficiency as we look at our career Readiness and assessment the data shows and figured one point to be that there were 13% abroad recipients on. career Readiness assessment the data also shows that there were 10.9% of silver recipients on the career Readiness assessment so we want to congratulate our students at risen secondary Academy for their hard work in these areas so as we look forward to our action plan to excel Beyond berries on our Journey to Excellence we have the following steps that we will take we will provide assessment data training to District high school administrative will also provide data-driven decision-making training to our teachers we will provide monthly data dies to facilitate tracking and monitoring of the different shifts will also provide opportunities for all educate to be informed of our new accountability metrics also provide stakeholders Community data meetings in October and we will also coordinate a board work session for data accountability measures why you are stakeholders to join us on this journey to excel Beyond various and continue with our Jasper County School District commitment of being student-centered and future Focus thank you for your time
