Meet Alicia Greene, 2020 Graduate of Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School. She has great advice for current students. Watch the Video! we are now at the item be former Jasper County School District student graduate and beaufort-jasper Ace graduate spotlight good evening every unarmed we wanted to take an opportunity to share with the the board in the community some of the awesome things that are happening out in our community we are sending out graduates that are really doing a great job I've been representing Jasper County well so please enjoy this video of this young 2020 Jasper County School District crash hello my name is Alicia green I'm a graduate of Richmond Hollywood High School and also BJ 8th Class of 2020 I decided that I wanted to do nails professionally when I was like Danbury High School I knew I wanted to do cosmetology but I didn't know which which form of Cosmetology I wanted to do so this is how I make decisions when I got to be j a i want to do cosmetology originally the program text so I did the Nail Tech program which I am I greatly appreciate that decision like I'm happy I decided to do to become a nail technician so it's so much thing as you can see like my job I'm a nail tech so everything that I learned in the class I do day today on my job as a nail technician we did book work and I'll Hands-On stuff practicals helped a lot and no customer service in practice cuz service you know money management and all kind of things we even talked about a little bit of Science in and nail tech class so I ended up here I knew that I wanted to work in like a a steady Pace nail salon so I went around Beaufort and I look for jobs and this was the place that hire me first soon as I came in she she told me that I can get the job what I when I came to the owner of the salon I mentioned my portfolio which I made an ace and I also use the customer service that you are in an ace yep I was hired on the spot she told me to call her and the next Monday which would be 2 years in a few days and I got the job and going into a program or what it what what you say today I definitely think you should take advantage of of the school take advantage of the school is so many classes that you can do like your nail tech program I started doing nails and I was 16 I graduated when I was 17 from BJs in right after that and I've been here ever since and I'm 19 right now so I definitely think you should take advantage of the program you're always have a trade you're always have it if you go to Asia always have your certificate whatever you get people for your welder or bar you always have it so I'm definitely take advantage of the program it's not easy what you want to do and you have to set goals and meet your goals and you're gradually get to where you want to be wise words and great advice from Miss green and hopefully more and more of our students will take advantage of a of the nearly 30 career paths available to them through BJ Ace in arcade yes thank you thank you congratulations great job Alicia in her so we're spotlighting and Jasper is definitely on the move sheet awesome young lady I had the privilege of meeting
