Dr. Sam Whack, Deputy Superintendent of Administration and Instruction, talks about the quality of the students in Jasper County and how they will benefit from the RCD process. Our students have the ability to compete with the best in the nation. This is how the RCD process will ensure that they have the tools that they need to do so.

the students of Jasper County are amazing I have had the opportunity to work in large urban districts I've also worked in poor rural districts and everything in between I see no difference in the ability of these students many students I've ever seen across the state I get excited and hopefully I get excited when I talk about because I see some of the kindest sweetest students that I've had the opportunity of meeting out of Honor if it's a 4K classroom or even to some of the high school students walking out the door you shaking my head never met me a day in the life is kind loving in an our students are not achieving because of who they are there not a chewy achieving because of what we put on the table for them so we are now deciding to fill the table we're deciding to raise the expectations and we feel like that this part of the rigorous curriculum design that we're embarking when will push us to that next level because before students can get to that quality level teachers have to be there in ministration have to be their teachers can't get students to where they're not already so we've got to make sure teachers are there and why when teachers get to that next level you are going to begin to see a mass matriculation and growth of the tremendous students that Jasper County is always an
