Join us for our Immigrant/Hispanic Parent Professional Development Session #3, presented by Title III. This session focuses on Reading Fluency—a skill crucial for reading comprehension. You will learn fun, simple strategies and activities to support your child’s development at home.

Two seniors from Hardeeville Junior & Senior High School proudly represented their school and Jasper County School District by participating in the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Garden of Light Program on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

Skyler Badger served as the occasion presenter, while Ayana Gant delivered the main address. Both students performed with excellence, confidence, and distinction, reflecting the values of leadership and service embodied by Dr. King.

Jasper County Parks & Recreation is offering Co-ed NFL Flag Football for youth ages 4–6, 7–9, and 10–12. This is a great opportunity for young athletes to learn the game, build teamwork skills, and have fun in a supportive environment.

With our community cheering them on at every turn, we will celebrate excellence and finish strong as One Jasper 🏁🏎️💨💙💛.

As we kicked off the second half of the school year, there was excitement in the air across our district as we collectively committed to finishing strong as One Jasper. We carried the theme into the first day back with students after our emcee challenged staff to wear sunglasses, and when students asked why, the answer was simple, their futures are too bright.

Our commitment to Finish S.T.R.O.N.G. means we will Support one another, Teach with purpose, put Relationships first, take Ownership, Never give up, and maintain a Growth mindset.

Teachers, scholars, and volunteers across our schools showed that commitment by posing with our “Finish Strong” posters, sharing a message that was clear from classrooms to hallways, we believe in our students, and together, we will finish strong.

Our district came together for Convocation to kick off the second half of the school year with energy and purpose. The theme, “Finish Strong,” set the tone for a rousing and inspirational event that reminded us why the work we do matters.

Congratulations to our Food Service Department and Ridgeland Secondary Academy of Excellence, co-winners of the 2025–2026 Spirit Stick! Competition was fierce, but these two teams truly shined when it mattered most.

A special thank you to the South Carolina Department of Education for their support and encouraging words.

Thank you to our emcee, Keith L. Brown; our keynote speaker, Patrick Erwin; and our additional speaker, Dr. Dwayne Gatson, for their inspiring messages. Special thanks as well to our event DJ, Jeffrey Walden, one of our very own teachers at RSAE, for keeping the energy high throughout the program.
