📚 Building on the Brilliance | New Teacher & Staff Workshops Day 2

Building on the Brilliance of Jasper starts by investing in the people who make learning possible.

Today, our newest teachers and staff members continued preparing for a successful school year through a full day of professional learning designed to ensure every educator has the knowledge, resources, and confidence to help students thrive.

Today's sessions included:

✨ Studient Academic Enrichment Program Training – Educators explored how Studient's AI supported intervention platform personalizes learning, builds student confidence, and accelerates academic growth through targeted, mastery based instruction for students who need additional support.

⚖️ Legal Considerations for Educators – Staff reviewed important laws, policies, and professional responsibilities that help create safe, supportive, and compliant learning environments.

💙 Student Services De-escalation, PBIS & Referral Protocols – Educators strengthened their understanding of effective de-escalation strategies, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and referral protocols that promote positive student behavior, foster supportive learning environments, and ensure students receive the appropriate academic, behavioral, and social emotional supports.

📈 Renaissance Program Training – Teachers learned how to use Renaissance assessment and instructional tools to monitor student progress, identify learning needs early, and make data informed decisions that support personalized instruction and intervention.

Every training session reflects our commitment to ensuring students are welcomed into classrooms led by educators who are prepared, supported, and equipped for success. Together, we are building on the brilliance that already exists across Jasper County School District and creating even greater opportunities for every student to succeed.
