Nourishing Our Scholars

🌟 Building on the Brilliance of Jasper: Nourishing Our Scholars

When the school year ends and summer begins, many students lose regular access to school meals. This summer, Jasper County School District was committed to helping close that gap.

Our Child Nutrition Department partnered with our Transportation Department and Chartwells K12 Food Service to take meals on the road and deliver nutritious meal kits directly to students who requested assistance. Together, our teams delivered meals to students from both the Ridgeland and Hardeeville campuses.

Because students are our future, supporting them means providing the tools and support they need year round to thrive. Nutritious meals do more than meet a basic need. They help nourish our scholars' minds and bodies, supporting learning, growth and a bright future.

A special SHOUT OUT to our Food Service and Transportation teams for making sure our scholars were cared for this summer. Your dedication to serving our students and families is a beautiful example of what it means to be One Jasper Family. 💙💛

This is how we keep Building on the Brilliance of Jasper! 🌟

2026-2027 Bus Routes Featured Photo

2026-2027 Bus Routes

Please note that route times will be updated as new stops are created for each rider.

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!

As we prepare to welcome our scholars back to our classrooms, we are filled with excitement for the opportunities that lie ahead. Every new school year brings a fresh start, and we look forward to partnering with our families to ensure every child has a safe, positive, and successful experience from the very first day.

Attached you will find the school bus routes for the 2026-2027 school year. To help our transportation team provide safe and efficient service, we ask that your scholar arrive at their assigned bus stop at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.

During the first few weeks of school, bus arrival and drop off times may vary slightly as our scholars become familiar with bus routines and safety expectations. At the same time, our dedicated bus drivers are learning the needs of each child and becoming acquainted with their routes while maintaining the highest standards of safety. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and partnership as we establish routines that will serve our scholars throughout the school year.

Safety is one of our district's highest priorities, and we ask for your support by reviewing bus expectations with your scholar before the first day of school. Together, we can help ensure every bus ride is safe, respectful, and welcoming for all.

Scholars are expected to:

• Remain seated while the bus is in motion.
• Keep their hands, feet, and personal belongings to themselves.
• Use respectful and appropriate language at all times.
• Keep all objects inside the bus and never throw items.
• Treat fellow scholars and the bus driver with kindness and respect.
• Follow all directions provided by the bus driver.
• Refrain from bringing illegal contraband or unsafe items onto the bus.

Our school buses are an extension of the classroom, and every scholar plays an important role in creating a positive environment where everyone feels safe and respected. Scholars who choose not to follow bus expectations may be referred to their school administrator and addressed in accordance with the Jasper County School District Student Code of Conduct.

Thank you for your continued trust, partnership, and commitment to our schools. Together, we will continue Building on the Brilliance of Jasper by creating learning environments where every scholar is valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

We cannot wait to welcome our scholars back and wish every family a safe, joyful, and successful school year.
