Public Information
The Public Information Department is the source of communication between the Jasper County School District and the community. It was created to help schools and departments to publicize events, coordinate the various media situations, provide training and understanding of customer service, and to provide a liaison between the schools and the community. The office is available to answer both employee and community questions regarding school activities and issues.

The JCSD Public Information Department has been honored by the South Carolina Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association with its Reward for Excellence in the fields of photography, publications, and electronic media. The national association, NSPRA, has honored the department with its Golden Achievement Award for exemplary public relations activity.
