Progressive Level

Progressive Level Competencies focus on the beginning levels of integrating technology into the classroom. The Progressive Level is divided into two sections: Professional Development and Technology Integration. To sustain

use of technology integration in the classroom, teachers should continue professional development through technology focused training sessions.

Five competencies at the Progressive Level should be completed beginning with the second year of the teacher technology portfolio. 1:1 Mobile Learning (3rd –12th grades & Special Services), two competencies from Professional Development and two competencies from Technology Integration. These competencies are designed to create mastery of technology use in the classroom for teachers and students.

Everyone should move at his/her own rate of comfort. If you feel that you need to remain in the Progressive Level and complete another 5 to 9 competencies during the third year that is fine. If you wish to move into a combination of Progressive and Proficient Level competencies, you are encouraged to do so. Please keep in mind that even if you have documentation for every competency in every level of your portfolio, you must still submit new documents each year in order to meet the minimum requirements for the district.

2018 Progressive Level - Professional Development

The District strives to provide continuous, consistent technology training for all teachers as technology is ever changing.  As new softwares and programs are introduced in the District, training is imperative for teacher and student success of use. Completion of Professional Development competencies will assist with completion of technology integration competencies.

2018 - Progressive Level - Technology Integration

Requirements for Technology Integration will be posted during the 2nd Nine Weeks. This gives teachers an opportunity to actively integrate technology into the curriculum and meet the requirements.
