Joyce Gerald is a resident of the Hardeeville, specifically in the Purrysburg Community. 
She is a retired educator who worked for many years in the Jasper County School District as a Special Education Teacher, Early Childhood Special Education Coordinator, Title Reading and Mathematics / IT Specialist, District Instructional Technology Facilitator, Curriculum Facilitator, and Federal Programs Director. 
Professional Degrees
Ms. Gerald has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. 
A Master of Education Degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Special Education/EBD. 
An Ed. Specialist degree in Educational Leadership: Administration & Supervision.  
Ms. Gerald also has a Masters in Christian Ministries with a minor in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University.

Ms. Gerald is a member of SCEA. She also serves the community as a Technology Coordinator for the Agape Family Life Center Food Pantry. She connects with all community agencies that have a web presence and provides food security services to members of the community.  
Ms. Gerald is the Team Leader for an online, completely web-based spiritual support team for people of all faiths. Ms. Gerald is a Member of Freedom Life Church of Bluffton, and she serves on the leadership team there.
