Interim Superintendent - Dr. Laura Hickson
Jasper County School District remains steadfast in its mission of delivering high levels of growth and learning for every student scholar. Guided by our vision, "Creating Today's Learners, Tomorrow's Leaders," we are committed to ensuring every scholar engages in meaningful learning experiences that prepare them for future careers, lifelong learning, responsible citizenship, and success in safe, supportive learning environments.
Throughout the year, Jasper County School District expanded opportunities for scholars to discover and develop their talents through Career and Technical Education (CTE), dual enrollment, work-based learning experiences, STEM initiatives, academic intervention programs, summer learning opportunities, and meaningful community partnerships. These experiences connected classroom learning to real-world applications and aligned with South Carolina's Profile of the Graduate.
Safety, Quality Education, and Transparency remained the district's highest priorities. We will accomplish our priorities by implementing initiatives designed to enhance school Climate, Culture, Curriculum, and Community and foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
At the heart of Jasper County School District's success are our exceptional educators, instructional leaders, and support staff. Their professionalism, compassion, expertise, and unwavering commitment create learning environments where scholars are challenged, supported, encouraged, and inspired to reach their highest potential.
Jasper County School District remains committed to building upon the strengths, talents, and brilliance of every scholar while preparing graduates who are college-, career-, and life-ready. We are proud of the progress made during the 2025–2026 school year and remain focused on our continuous journey of excellence as we work together to Build on the Brilliance of Jasper.
