Important Safety Message - Vapes and THC Products

At Jasper County School District, the safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our highest priority.

We need your partnership in addressing a serious concern involving THC products, drug-related gummies or edibles,
tobacco products, vaping devices, and other prohibited substances on school campuses. The use of these items may
cause medical emergencies.

We Need Your Help Please:
1. Check your child's bookbag and belongings regularly for prohibited or unfamiliar items.
2. Talk with your child about the health risks and serious disciplinary consequences associated with prohibited
substances and vaping devices.
3. Remind your child not to accept or share food, candy, gummies, drinks, or other items when they do not
know exactly what the item contains or where it came from.

Keeping our schools safe requires all of us. Thank you for reinforcing these expectations at home and for partnering with us to protect every Jasper County School District student scholar.
