On Friday, November 13th, we proudly celebrated another powerful literacy event in Jasper County — Real Men Read!

A huge thank you to every gentleman who took time to visit Hardeeville Elementary and Ridgeland Elementary to read with our scholars. Your presence, your stories, and your encouragement were instrumental in instilling the joy of reading in our students.

Our scholars lit up with excitement as they listened, asked questions, and connected with positive male role models from across our community. Moments like these truly show the impact that community partnership can have on a child’s love for learning.

As we continue encouraging students, staff, families, and community members to read 30 minutes during the school day and 30 minutes outside of school, events like Real Men Read help build the strong culture of literacy our children deserve.
