Congratulations to Ridgeland Elementary School!

We are proud to announce that Ridgeland Elementary School has been named a National Beta School of Distinction. This prestigious recognition from the National Beta Club celebrates schools that not only grow their Beta Club membership but also demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the core values of achievement, character, leadership, and service.

We commend Principal Renata Johnson-Green and the entire RES team for their dedication to fostering student success and service. By actively participating in National Beta events, increasing membership, and achieving service hour awards, Ridgeland Elementary has earned this honor and continues to shine as a model of excellence for our district.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who joined us for today’s Stakeholder Workshop. Dr. Laura Hickson, Interim Superintendent, looks forward to building on this momentum and continuing meaningful conversations with our community as we work together to unlock the full potential of Jasper’s scholars.

We are especially grateful for the strong presence of our elected officials, local organization leaders, and business partners whose commitment strengthens our shared vision for success.

A special thank-you goes to State Superintendent of Education Ellen Weaver for visiting and sharing her inspiring vision for the future of Jasper’s schools.
