Office of Student Services

The department is a resource center for the students of the Jasper County School District. The resources include various health, wellness and behavioral services; truancy prevention; education for the homebound, home schooling and homeless students; school resource officers; and assistance to those seeking alternative educational programs.

In one interview using the Benefit Bank, clients can complete applications for: Medicaid ( including the Children’s Health Insurance Program) (CHIP), Low Income Subsidy (LIS) (Rx Assistance), State and Federal taxes (refunds returned within 10 days or less), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) (formerly food stamps) Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), Voter Registration, and more.
