Rochelle Anderson student enrollment district holiday gathering I'm having scared to do a quick video for the news. meaning of November 14 as I'm doing that I can't talk on Berry home quickly in the car to call the airline drive to working on retention and recruitment as well as staff morale we are working to put together that it will probably be a black tie affair will get engaged to you more patient and time as well to everyone if we start we invite you to come out and celebrate with our staff members as we close out the holiday season and we certainly enjoy the time with our family and friends as we are starting the new year we are very much so thankful for all that is certainly happening in our just and we're certainly looking forward to continuing to I definitely grow together as well as work to ensure that we are continuing to improve the learning and the environment here County School District or even access what I need to ask that I want to get by by school I'm not sure why it's not pulling up on my device I will say that we were at 2704 student but I wanted to certainly give you the breakdown thanks so I Roman is actually growing we've had 24 students to enroll since the last report that was provided to you I think I have a son of November 29th okay original Elementary School we have 868 students Richland secondary Academy of Excellence we have 643 students Hardeeville Elementary we have 615 and for Hardeeville Junior Senior High School 578 again giving us a total of 2704 students that concludes my a thank you we have our monthly Finance report exhibits even pleasure to be here with you all tonight my first meeting with you after you had a chance to review the finance report on staying in questions I'd be glad to answer them for you at this time as it stands you know things are in great shape going forward we got a lot of projects and things going on we going to have our first staff training are we going to open things up and educate the that educate but I'm saying exposed all out uses to the procurement policies and procedures so that we can make sure we're staying in I had with the following procedures that the board put forth so we going to have a lunch and learn session we're going to bring it all the administrative the bookkeepers and everyone if we going to have a lunch and we going to learn and we go to know that how to do procurement processes in go forth from the airport that is beyond the questions on the report December 30th any questions thank you you have your board member monthly attendant in your packet for information we don't have any action item future agenda items any agenda item for discussion for salary study to take place it's also I think that we had put on there one time about teacher housing but I want more because a lot more counties in South Carolina and all over the state and the United States are building housing for the teachers to retain so I think we need to look at that also we've recently when was our last salary study so you requesting a new one or are you requesting a I'm requesting one shoes yes and also an out of December meeting we need to nominate some three board members for the eighth board did they change over in January I want to go 8 board information you request at the picture house the information you requested for Teacher houses numbers we have I mean the demographics Where do they I mean how far they have to commute all that kind of stuff that's what I'm looking at demographics so I can know what else you choose are up against how much they paid you know they don't have to give it to us but it would help us if you know what the a four-month what and what county do you live in and that type of stuff one two or three bedrooms or whatever so we can know whether we have single pictures with one or two kids teachers for that Simone pictures so we can accommodate accordingly I would like to see information on the incentive for the travel for teachers can we get some update on that how long are we going to continue with that and where we stand what do we want with that update on that and how much that we're paying out for the travel site that and how long are we are planning on doing it is it a is it a is it a continuation thing or is it something that just for a. Of time but right now it is being paid out of escrow funds and so when the answer completely delete themselves then that goes away however if we are talking about Recruitment and Retention one of the things that this board is going to have to do is discuss what incentives were going to get staff members to be competitive two neighboring districts that are offering things that we certainly can offer or not offering or offering to be competitive so if you can give me exactly what I'm not what if I can say other than to cousin to provide that right now no it's out of the special Revenue you have the announcements listed on your agenda I can please I'll meeting can I get a motion to adjourn we have missiles in our meeting question all in favor
