2021 Summer School Programs
Jasper County School District provides a summer program for every student, most are free of charge.
Summer School in JCSD is designed to provide specific support for students trying to get ahead as well as those who are trying to catch up.
Our Summer School Programs are designed to give all students a strong start to the fall semester. Summer school is a fun, interactive, educational program for students entering kindergarten through 12th grade.
The programs are designed to help students maintain the skills they acquired during the regular school year and help them obtain new skills for the following school year.
In addition to mathematics, communication arts, and either science or social studies, students K-8 will engage in a variety of exploratory courses.
Students who will be enrolled in grades 9-12 can earn first time credit, recover credit, or learn more about a particular topic during the summer.
For most courses, high school students can earn a ½ unit of credit for successfully passing, and their course grade contributes to their overall high school GPA.
