As your new Superintendent, I welcome you to the Jasper County School District web site. This site has been designed to provide helpful information to parents, students, employees, the community and applicants, and to inform all site visitors about JCSD and its strength of purpose.
The school district serves the expanding towns of Ridgeland and Hardeeville. It has a combined enrollment of approximately 3100 students. The Academy of Career Excellence, a shared facility with neighboring Beaufort County, also serves our secondary students concentrating on instruction in vocational skills and career preparedness. Our primary goal is to provide a strong educational base.
With two new school structures, Jasper Schools will provide every child in the county the opportunity to attend technology rich classrooms that will change the way that teachers teach and children learn. Teachers will utilize best available practices to make learning without limits a reality. They will be educating the whole child
