Selena song I am a student at reason secondary Academy of excellent I'm a senior hello I'm here at Hardeeville Junior Senior High School and I am a senior at regular secondary Academy of Excellence, temporary and I'm honored to tell you my name is I mean I am a senior at Hardeeville Junior Senior High School psychology in Macon at 2 is retired I want to get the experience and I want to learn more and I want to be ahead of everybody when I get into the real world number to get my associate's degree Bachelors of Science I want to study criminal justice 6 classes that I can't really name them off the top of my head I'm taking psychology an introduction to computers for A to Z all I am taking psychology and I'm taking you with history and computer my name is dr. Paula Murphy and I MJC SD dual enrollment coordinator I am here to give you an update on the jcsd dual enrollment program I am pleased to announce that I was taller start taking full advantage this great opportunity we currently have $55 enroll for fall 23 in summary we have students from Richland secondary Academy of excellent and hard to deal with a senior high school who will receive a combination of instructions to include face-to-face online and online synchronous for both campuses from the district and t c l a jump professors in addition we are students who attend TCL full-time they receive online and face-to-face instruction on the college campus there are different ways in which the dual enrollment program support students and Families First the district pays for students to attend and take these courses this will help to offset Richard called when students do go to college another benefit of the dual enrollment program to our families in our community is that we are giving all students Early Access to college once the 10 universities and colleges they have a jumpstart they've already been introduced to the rigor they also can finish up College earlier and start their career or college there are many other than a is there a dual enrollment program students are walking away with academic certificate academic certificates help to make the marketable it's also a tool they can use as they do a four-year University we have students that are earning an entire associate's degree this will save lots of money and time when I students do move on to their four-year University After High School saving lots of money to family there are several ways to participate in the dual enrollment program you can sign up by visiting the district's website go to instructional Services page click secondary programs dual enrollment follow the instructions to sign up or you can also tell your guidance counselor that you want to take advantage of the dual enrollment program there are eligibility requirement ask your guidance counselor if you any questions we look forward to expanding our program there is still time to sign up for 2024 thank you for your support program helpful to you well it is Appleton me because I get to make College cheaper for my family and myself in the future if I decide to go down the student loans directions to be when you grow up I want to be a engineer what is the real mr. get ahead of my college classes because that way is saving more money for my parents and I don't have to go to school for as long as everybody else except cuz I'm headed to class and I want to challenge you know this is going to give me fifth College in the future just get ahead of college things cuz I plan to go to college and stuff like that for you just to let you know get ahead of my class and goofy in college for a long. Of time associate's degree and I chose to do dual enrollment because I'm ahead of my class and I wanted to get a challenge I'm in Road and doing wrong because I don't know better my future and said a good example for my little sister in the head in bed in my future I wanted to say do you want to do when you are when you're all said and done when you are marketing and then on my own right now what I want to get out of school is become a computer tech oh I am mppl because for my family and for me to have a brighter future
