Elementary Curriculum

Child Development (4K) Registration March 15th-April 29th



· Registration Forms (La Forma de Inscripcion)

· Birth Certificate - must be 4 on or before September 1, 2016 (El Certificado de nacimiento- 4 en o antes de primero de septiembre, 2016)

· SC Immunization Form (La Forma de la Inmunizacion de SC)

· Medicaid Card (Tarjeta de Medicaid)

· Proof of Residency- bill with a physical address (La Prueba de Residencia- cuento que muestra direccion fisica)  NO P.O. Boxes

· Verification of Yearly Income- 2015 tax form with total income (La Verificacion de Ingresos Anuales- 2015 forma de impuesto)

*Children with Medicaid will automatically be accepted in the program. Those showing proof of an income qualifying for Free/Reduced lunch will be accepted into the program. All other children will be placed on a waiting list until later notification. (Waiting list is determined according to highest level of need.)


Kindergarten through Second Grade

All registrations for Kindergarten, first, and second grade students take place in the school Main Office. You may register at the front office with the Student Data Clerk or ask for the Guidance Counselor.

Our Child Development Education Program (CDEP) also known as 4-year-old Kindergarten classes use Teaching Strategies for Early Childhood's The Creative Curriculum as the adopted curriculum in Jasper County School District.  Please click on the links below for more information: 

For the 2015-2016 school year, all South Carolina school districts were required to choose an assessmnet tool for Pre-K children from a list of three choices.  All children in Jasper County Child Development classess are assessed using the Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening (PALS) tool.  PALS is administered three times per year, around September, January, and in May.  Click here for more informatoin about the PALS assessment
